In association with Thomas Nelson, Inc., the world's largest publisher/seller of Bibles, FPG has produced a 22-hour, 20-CD, multi-celebrity voiced audio production of The New Testament Bible (New King James Version, which is owned and copyrighted by Thomas Nelson, Inc.) starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus entitled “The Word of Promise New Testament Audio Bible.”

Caviezel portrayed the role of Jesus in Mel Gibson's blockbuster film The Passion of the Christ. The Word of Promise NKJV Audio Bible features Hollywood stars in the main roles and is a word-for-word audio dramatization from Scripture, with an original music score by prolific Italian composer Stefano Mainetti and ambient sound effects, woven together by compelling narration. Our talent pool, combined with the producer's experience as a leading producer and distributor of audio dramas has resulted in performances and production values far exceeding those of present audio versions of The Bible. The Word of Promise NKJV Audio Bible is available in retail outlets worldwide by Thomas Nelson, Inc. The Word of Promise Old Testament and The Word of Promise Complete Bible (NEW & OLD TESTAMENTS combined) will be released worldwide in October 2009.
